Hiawassee, Georgia, The Plant Stand offers its clients a vast selection of drought-tolerant Georgian and Appalachian natives, culinary herbs, medicinal herbs, annuals and perennials, interior plants as well as landscaping plants. With years of experience in the Nursery Industry, Paul and Catherine decided to open a
Garden
Center in
Northern Georgia.
Catherine had owned a landscaping design company in
Orange County, California for 5 years. Before this endeavor Catherine, worked for
Armstrong
Garden
Centers and Hines Nursery. After being discharged from the Army, Paul decided to settle down in Hiawassee with Catherine and Corrina, their daughter.
Located in the mists of the Smokey Mountains and surrounded by beautiful Lake Chatuge, Hiawassee is a mere one hour and thirty minutes north of Atlanta. The Plant Stand is a great place to pick up any last-minute garden necessities, or grab a cup of coffee for the road. Better yet, come hang out for a while - you never know who you'll run into.
